Matthew Perry

I'm an engineer who came up through marketing and international expansion. Title says Director of Marketing; the work is increasingly hands-on engineering — APIs, identity flows, data pipelines, AI agents.

Currently Director of Marketing at Bagjump Action Sports (Innsbruck), where I designed and built the in-house Marketing Analytics Portal — a TypeScript monorepo wiring Google Ads, GA4, Meta, Bing, Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, and Gravity Forms into a single dashboard secured by Bagjump's Microsoft 365 tenant. Plus a Node/Express middleware bridging Zoho One and Microsoft Power Apps. Plus the marketing program itself — a 40% organic lift in the first year and campaigns contributing hundreds of thousands in revenue.

Outside of Bagjump, I run Software Is Nothing, LLC — a small consultancy that's the home for tailharbor.eu (a European pet-adoption SaaS with over 2,000 scraper adapters across 30+ countries) and the Turbine Intelligence platform (a Python AI-agent market-intelligence system).

How I work

I prefer building the small in-house tool over buying the bloated SaaS. I write Python, TypeScript, SQL, and whatever else the job needs. I deploy with Docker on Hetzner, Vercel, or the cheapest thing that works. I treat AI agents as a feature, not a category — they live behind compliance gates and get audited like any other production system.

Based in Innsbruck. 35 countries. 45 US states. 20 miles of the Grand Canyon under my belt.
